Even if you’re not ready to or interested in starting your own newsletter, Substack is a fantastic place for reading, writing, and connecting. I’m not a Substack expert, just a longtime user and fan, and I have so much to share about the benefits of using this site, from finding people who want to read your writing to meeting beta readers, collaborators, and other writers in your genre. In this talk, we’ll discuss some of the advantages Substack has over other social media sites. You’ll learn how easy it is to get started on the platform and how to use some of the most important Substack features.
