About this speaker
Eden Lee Lackner, Ph.D. is an author and academic from Alberta, Canada. She has over thirty years of experience in creative, scholarly and technical writing and editing, and more than twenty years of experience in teaching writing and literature to a wide variety of skill and knowledge-levels. She believes deeply in the value of stories, as they drive how we think about ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Her main areas of interest include nineteenth century literature, Edward Gorey, speculative fiction, and popular culture.
Eden is a member of the Horror Writers' Association, the Romance Writers of America, and The International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. She offers developmental and copyediting services to speculative fiction and romance writers, and when she's not writing or editing, she's spending time with her Samoyed.
