Matthew Blasi

Matthew Blasi has been publishing fiction and creative nonfiction for over a decade in publications such as Gargoyle Magazine, The Arroyo Literary Review, Drunken Boat, and the Superstition Review to name a few. He received his Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of Florida, his MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University Camden, and his Ph.D. in English from Louisiana State University. When not writing fiction, Matt researches and publishes peer-reviewed scholarship on contemporary American literature, gender, and sexuality, writes and records music, and dedicates an inordinate amount of time to his cats. His first novel, Sweet Muffin Ranch, is forthcoming from Willow River Press in September of this year.
