  1. Maryrose Wood is the founder of Path of the Storyteller, where she helps writers succeed through mastery of story structure, writing craft, and the mindset of the working, thriving writer. Her most recent book is Alice’s Farm, A Rabbit’s Tale (Macmillan), a middle-grade novel that the NY Times called “delightful and quirky and full of good will.” She wrote The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place books, the critically acclaimed children’s book series from HarperCollins. Her books have been Junior Library Guild selections and received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, School Library Journal and Booklist. They’ve appeared on Best Children’s Books of the Year lists from NPR, Christian Science Monitor and others, and have been translated into many languages. Her writing for the theatre made her a three-time winner of the Richard Rodgers Award, administered by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
